Leatherman 831089 Black Wave Limited Damascus Leatherman’s most popular multi-tool is now available with process-intensive Damascus steel.
As part of our popular, ongoing series of commemorative tools, Leatherman is producing a limited-edition Wave for 2009.
This Leatherman 831089 tool features exquisite forged and etched Damascus design on the outside-accessible knife and serrated knife blades.
The handles will be done in a richly-colored, DLC with laser-engraved Limited-edition logo.
Only 1000 of the Limited-edition Damascus Wave are being produced, and each tool will be numbered. Packaged in an elegant gift tin each tool will come with a premium leather sheath.
Wow! Yeah thats a lot for a leatherman wave. This tool is unique and, although I don’t use the gift box it is neat storage for my old wave. This tools comes from the factory sharp enough to shave with, literally. So far ( I’ve had it for about 3 weeks now) it has held its edge very well. Do I use it? Sure. It lives on my belt just like the original. It does seem to have the benefit of better quality conrol as well. It is a fine piece of work, well constructed and quite attractive.
