I was pleasantly surprised how well these speakers performed considering they only cost me 129.99 shipped! I have these paired with Yamaha RX-V465 Receiver hooked up to my ps3 slim with hdmi so I can take advantage of HD Audio and the sound is awesome for what you get. The subwoofer was the biggest surprise. For being an 8 inch sub this baby packs a lot of punch. I only have it turned up halfway and it shakes my living room. Just got done watching Blade Runner Blu Ray and I felt like I was in a movie theater. I highly recommend these speakers out there to anyone on a budget. My friend owns an energy classic speakers system which costs three times as much as these speakers and he is running them off of a Yamaha RX-V665 receiver and I honestly can’t tell a major difference that would make me wanna shell out the extra $500 dollars to buy his setup over what my receiver and speaker setup cost me.
